Why Sandery

Your career should exist as more than a collection of documents.

Sandery creates a persistent professional record beneath the CV, profile and application—so what you have done does not need to be reconstructed for every new decision.

The information problem

Professional markets see representations of people—not the whole record.

A career contains decisions, responsibilities, projects, outcomes and accumulated judgment. The market usually sees a title, an employer and a handful of selectively written bullets.

AI can improve the language of those representations. It cannot recover important experience that was never captured, preserve relationships that were never recorded or reliably compare evidence it never received.

Sandery starts with the professional substance—then creates the output a particular decision requires.

What we believe

Better information should strengthen human judgment.

01

The individual is the organising principle.

The Career Bank is built around the person and intended to remain useful throughout their career.

02

Substance before presentation.

Professional value begins with what someone has done—not how effectively a tool can phrase it.

03

Evidence before proxies.

Titles, employers and credentials can be useful signals. They should not substitute for the experience underneath them.

04

Information before verdicts.

Sandery is designed to surface stronger information for people to assess—not to reduce a person to an automatic score.

What persistence changes

One record can become useful in more than one professional moment.

The fair question

Why not just use ChatGPT or Claude?

You should use them when you want a powerful general-purpose intelligence tool. Uploading career documents can produce useful—and sometimes excellent—results.

Sandery addresses the problem upstream. A model answering “What is my strongest evidence of cross-functional leadership?” can reason brilliantly over the material it receives. That alone does not establish that every relevant project was considered, the strongest example was selected or the relationship between the claim and its support was preserved.

Sandery is being built to maintain the professional record, retrieve the relevant experience and supporting context, and then use frontier models where their reasoning and communication are most valuable.

Sandery does not ask an LLM to be your career database. It gives the LLM a better professional record to reason over.

Built to improve with the models

The intelligence model can change. The professional record endures.

Sandery is designed to be model-agnostic. A better frontier model should make Sandery better, not obsolete it.

The differentiated infrastructure is being built around the record itself: durable professional information, its context, its supporting basis and the ability to retrieve what matters for the question at hand. Current Career Bank work is guided and human-reviewed; broader applications remain in development.

The first application

The CV is one output. Your professional record is the asset.

Guided CV work is available today because the market still requires the document. The integrated CV Architect is being developed to produce that role-specific output from the Career Bank and a clearer account of the opportunity.
